Diese Norm gilt für Sprengringe aus Runddraht zur Sicherung vo Kolbenbolzen mit einem Nenndurchmesser von 10 bis 35 mm. Sie legt ausserdem die Hauptmasse für die jeweils zugehörige Nut fest. Die Sprengringe sind für Einmalmontage vorgesehen. Für Form C ist eine Aushebenut im Kolben für die Demontage erforderlich.
