This standard is included in DIN Handbook 3 E. Applies to non-slip couplings with power transmission elements made both of partially flexible elastomers or elastomers which are flexible on all sides, and of flexible metallic spring elements. The calculation methods given in this standard for the design of flexible shaft couplings include load factors derived from working practice and, in addition, are only valid for a linear two-mass vibration generating system under special operating conditions.
