This standard is included in DIN VDE Handbook 41. The standard covers spin-type socket wrenches for working close to, or on, live parts at voltages up to 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c. It specifies safety requirements and main dimensions. Regarding the use of tools when working on, near or with electrical installations, see DIN EN 50110 PT1.
