Diese Norm enthält eine Übersicht über die im Schiffbau vorzugsweise zu verwendenden Arten und Grössen von genormten Schlauchverbindungen (Kupplungen), zugehörigen Armaturen und sonstigen Teilen für Wasser-Feuerlöschanlagen und Deckwaschanlagen. Abweichungen von den Festlegungen dieser Norm, besonders hinsichtlich der Beschränkung auf die beiden Grössen B und C, sind möglichst zu vermeiden.
