Defines technical acceptance conditions for surface grinding machines with horizontal grinding wheel spindle with round table. They comprise preparatory measures, geometrical tests on the machine (accuracy of manufacture) and practical tests on the workpiece (working accuracy). The test conditions conform to 8601 (successor issue at present circulating as draft), see Explanations.
