This standard is included in DIN HDBK 171. Defines two test methods, (A and B), for rapidtesting of the leaktightness of glass-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP) pipes and fittings under short-term internal pressure. A - hydraulic test applying to a pipe under uniaxial stress. B - pneumatic test applying to pipes and fittings, but intended to be complementary, not alternative to test A. ALSO NUMBERED AS BS 2782 PART 12 METHODS 1223 A AND B 1997
