This standard is included in DIN Handbook 308. Supplies guidance on the assessing and selecting of methods for treating waste process microorganisms from biotechnological plant for ensuring the safety of people and the environment. Applicable to wastes and effluents emitted from biotechnological processes including traditional processes eg brewing or food processing, and fermenting for pharmaceutical and chemical products, in addition to biotechnological processes for environmental and agricultural application.
