Der vorliegende Teil der IEC 60216 beschreibt die versuchstechnischen und Berechnungsverfahren für die Bestimmung des relativen thermischen Lebensdauer-Indexes eines Werkstoffes aus Versuchsergebnissen, die nach den Anweisungen von IEC 60216-1 und IEC 60216-2 ermittelt wurden. Die Berechnungsverfahren ergänzen diejenigen von IEC 60216-3.
