    Applicable to radio receivers and tuners for receiving frequency-modulated sound-broadcasting emissions with rated maximum system deviations plus or minus 75 kHz and 50 kHz in ITU band 8. Covers mostly methods of measurement using radio frequency signals applied to the antenna terminals of the receiver. Chooses the measurements and defined test conditions in order to allow the comparison of results obtained by different observers and on other receivers. Does not specify performance standards, or radiation and immunity tests and requirements, which are defined in CISPR 13 and CISPR 20.
