Diese Internationale Norm legt die Verfahren zur Messung des Reflexionsvermögens von Absorbern für elektromagnetische Wellen (en.: Electromagnetic Wave Absorbers, EMA) bei senkrechtem Einfall, schrägem Einfall und für alle polarisierten Wellen im Millimeterwellenbereich fest. Diese Verfahren sind darüber hinaus auf die Messung des Reflexionsvermögens anderer Materialien anwendbar.
