Diese Norm legt die Bestimmung von in feuerfesten Erzeugnissen und Rohstoffen aus Magnesit und Dolomit enthaltenem Silicium(IV)-oxid, Aluminiumoxid, itan(IV)-oxid, Eisen(II)-oxid und der Oxide von Mangan, Chrom, Calcium, Natrium, Kalium, Phosphor und Zirkonium mittels Verfahren der Flammenatomabsorptionsspektrometrie und Atomemissionsspektrometrie mit induktiv gekoppeltem Plasma fest.
