This standard is included in DIN Handbook KUNSTSTOFFE BAND 2. Describes the determining of the total luminous transmittance, in the visible region of the spectrum, of planar transparent and substantially colourless plastics, with a single-beam photometer with a specified CIE standard light source and photodetector. Not for use with plastics containing fluorescent materials. Also applies to transparent moulding materials, films and sheets not in excess of 10 mm in thickness.
