This publication also bears a QC number. This number, QC 250000 is the specification number in the IEC Quality Assessment System for Electronic Components (IECQ). Lists the procedures to be used in the quality assessment of inductor and transformer cores for telecommunications. Prescribes the rules for writing blank detail specification, and also gives the relevant units, symbols and terminology. Applicable to magnetic cores mainly made of magnetic oxides or metallic powders.
