Diese Norm enthält die Mindestanforderungen für die Anfangsprüfung und Messung sowie die Prüfschärfen, die eine druckdichte Muffe einhalten muss, damit sie als die Anforderungen für die Kategorie S - unterirdisch, wie Anhang A der IEC 61753-1 festgelegt, erfüllend eingestuft werden kann. Schärfere oder zusätzliche Anforderungen dürfen zwischen Kunde und Lieferant vereinbart werden.
