Dieser Teil der IEC 61788 behandelt ein Messverfahren zur Bestimmung des Restwiderstandsverhältnisses (RRR) eines Verbundsupraleiters, der aus Nb-Ti-Filamenten und einer Cu-, Cu-Ni- oder Cu/Cu-Ni-Matrix besteht. Dieses Verfahren ist vorgesehen zur Anwendung bei Supraleitern, die eine monolithische Struktur mit rechteckigem oder runden Querschnitt, ein Restwiderstandsverhältnis kleiner als 350 und eine Querschnittsfläche kleiner als 3 mm[2] haben. Alle Messungen müssen ohne äusseres Magnetfeld durchgeführt werden.
