Diese Internationale Norm definiert Prüfeinrichtungen und Verfahren die empfohlen sind zur Messung des passiven Intermodulationspegels, der von Filtern erzeugt wird, die typischerweise in drahtlosen Kommunikationssystemen eingesetzt werden. Zweck dieser Norm ist, Prüfverfahren für die Annahme und die Qualifizierung von Filtern für Anwendungen mit geringer Intermodulation (geringe IM) zu definieren. Diese Norm ist zusammen mit IEC 62037-1 anzuwenden.
