Diese Norm definiert die Datenstruktur für die auf DV-basierende Schnittstelle mit 100 Mbit/s für digitale Audio-, Subcode- und komprimierte Videodaten. Mit festgelegt wird der Verarbeitungsprozess für die Decodierung der DV-basierenden Datenstruktur in 8 digitale Audiokanäle zu 48 kHz nach AES-3, Subcode-Daten und hochauflösendes Video mit 1080/60i, 1080/50i und 720/60p.
