Dieser Teil von ISO 9022 legt unter gleichen Bedingungen Verfahren für die Prüfung der Beständigkeit von optischen Geräten und Geräten mit optischen Bauteilen gegen die Einwirkung der Kombination von niedrigem Druck und Umgebungstemperatur oder trockener Wärme fest. Zweck der Prüfung ist festzustellen, inwieweit optische, thermische, mechanische, chemische und elektrische Eigenschaften des Prüflings durch Einwirkung der Kombination von niedrigem Druck und Umgebungstemperatur oder trockener Wärme beeinflusst werden; z. B. Geräte, die im Innern von Luftfahrzeugen oder Flugkörpern ohne Druckausgleich angebracht sind oder transportiert werden.
