Proposes minimum acceptable efficiencies for three-phase cage induction motors when measured in accordance with AS 1359.102.1 or AS 1359.102.3(Int) (in course of publication, see DR 99198, May 1999). Also proposes additional minima for motors to be rated as "high efficiency" and proposes requirements for compliance with the Standard and certification by the regulatory authorities. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
