Proposes a uniform testing procedure for assessing shorthand reporters who operate in courts, parliament and other areas that require accurate transcription of the spoken word with minimal delay. Proposed changes on test assessment are derived from the use of the existing Standard. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
