Proposes requirements for preservative treatment of glued veneer-based wood products for protection against decay or insect attack for all exposure throughout Australia and New Zealand. Appendix C proposes methods for methods for sample selection and testing of treated glue-laminated timber and veneer-based wood products for determination of penetration patterns and retention levels via chemical analysis. This Standard is a companion document to AS 1604.1-2000. Proposed as Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
