Proposes requirements specific to lighting grounds for playing Australian Rules, Rugby League, Rugby Union and Soccer and examines the particular visual tasks associated with this sport. Lighting levels are specified for training, amateur and professional levels of play but lighting for television broadcasting is not included. To be read in conjunction with AS 2560.1. Deals with the same technical areas as the 1986 edition but includes requirements as well as recommendations, the requirements applying to measurement techniques and acceptable levels of various lighting parameters. Other changes include the introduction of a second uniformity measurement, glare rating requirements and specified locations for illuminance and glare calculations or measurements.
