Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 14598-1:1999 which provides a framework for evaluating the quality of software product and gives the requirements for methods of software product measurement and evaluation. Copies of ISO/IEC 14598-1 can be purchased from or viewed at Standards Australia head office or at Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
