Proposes the adoption with national modifications of IEC 61097-7:1996,which provides minimum requirements for VHF transmitters and receivers for use on board ships in the maritime mobile services. An annex sets out proposed variations to these requirements for application in Australia and New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
