Proposes the adoption of ISO/DTS 17090-3 as Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard to specify health care certificate management issues involved in implementing and operating certificate profiles required to create a platform for global interoperability for the common technical, operational and policy requirements that need to be addressed to enable Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) to be used in protecting the exchange of health care information within a single domain, between domains and across jurisdictional boundaries.
