Proposes basic requirements for the bracing, connection and installation of nailplated timber trusses. Also proposes requirements given for supporting structures, truss installation, roof bracing, truss connection and overhangs. This revision proposes provisions for limit state design methods, as well as intermediate ceiling joists and internal top chord ties for north-light trusses and top-hat trusses. Appendices provide guidance on temporary bracing; transport, storage, lifting and handling of trusses; typical specification for and example of steel-brace; fixing details for typical girder brackets (truss botts); recommended sizes and spacings for permanent bottom chord ties; and recommended practice for truss installation.
