Proposes the adoption of IEC/TR 60825-9:1999 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard to provide maximum permissible exposure (MPE) values of the exposure of the human eye and skin to incoherent optical radiation from artificial sources in the wavelength range from 180 mm to 3000 mm. A copy of IEC/TR 60825-9 may be purchased from or viewed at Standards Australia offices or Standards New Zealand.
