Proposes requirements for restraining devices for child occupants of passenger cars and their derivatives. Changes include new requirements for anchorage fittings, the incorporation of requirements for a chest cross-strap, and reference to a dynamic inverted test in the proposed revision of AS 3629.1 to simulate a crash involving rollover where a vehicle comes to rest on its roof.
