Proposes requirements for the design, construction, performance and marking of breath alcohol testing devices other than those used for evidential purposes by law enforcement authorities. Four types of devices are covered: single-use disposable tubes; hand-held electronic devices; electronic, coin in the slot devices for use by the general public; and interlock devices fitted to motor vehicles. Test methods are given in appendices.
