Proposes requirements for limits and methods of measurement of radio interference characteristics of household electrical appliances, portable tools and similar electrical apparatus which are designed to provide protection for television, radio and communication services. It proposes the adoption of CISPR 14(1985) as the third edition of AS 1044. This edition will include limits for large power tools. Copies of CISPR 14(1985) and Amendment 3(1990) may be viewed at or purchased from Standards Australia offices.
