Proposes recommendations and requirements for persons using explosive-powered hand-held fastening tools, with guidance for the selection, operation and maintenance of these tools. New features of this Standard include the following: broadening of the list of safety precautions that should be observed while explosive-powered hand-held fastening tools are being used, and inclusion of criteria for safety signs denoting a potential hazard. It is intended to be issued as a joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
