Proposes requirements for pipelines and associated piping and components that are used to transmit hydrocarbon fluids such as natural and manufactured gas, liquefied petroleum gas, natural gasoline, crude oil, natural gas liquids, and liquid petroleum products, in either a single- phase or a multiphase condition. At every position along the pipeline, the temperatures are not greater than 200 degrees Celsius nor less than -30 degrees Celsius and, at maximum allowable operating pressure, either the hoop stress is more than 20 percent of the specified minimum yield stress or the operating pressure is more than 1050 kPa.
