    Proposes guidance for the design, construction and general safeguarding of remote control systems for mining equipment. Guidance for the training of personnel as well as maintenance and safe operation of control systems are also included. The proposed Standard is applicable to both the coal and metalliferous mining industries. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
