Proposes the adoption of CENELEC/EN 50082-1:1992 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard which provides generic immunity requirements applicable to electrical and electronic equipment intended for use in the residential, commercial and light industrial environment. This equipment is connected to low voltage public mains supplies, or dedicated DC sources interfacing to those supplies. Immunity requirements in the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz are covered.
