Proposes the adoption of IEC 947-4-1:1990 as an Australian Standard. Applies to a.c. and d.c. contactors and a.c. motor-starters whose main contacts are intended to be connected to circuits, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c. Copies of IEC 947-4-1:1990 may be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australia office.
