Proposes requirements, additional to those in the SAA Wiring Rules (AS 3000), for electrical installations in hospitals and medical and dental practices where cardiac-type and body-type medical electrical procedures are performed on a regular basis. Included in the appendices are typical forms for commissioning tests for patient treatment areas, methods of measuring magnetic fields and resistance calculations in equipotential areas. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
