Proposes requirements for damp-proof courses and flashing material of the sheet membrane type for use in building construction. It includes performance requirements and a list of commonly used materials deemed to be satisfactory. It does not cover mortar-type damp-proof courses as these are dealt within AS 3700, Masonry in buildings. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
