Relates to beauty therapy equipment designed to be used by other than professionally trained medical personnel and proposes the revision of the present Standard for the following reasons; to take into account the version of AS 3200.1 (NZS 6150) issued in 1990; to take into account the proliferation of equipment types since the Standard was first issued and to enable its adoption as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
