Proposes the adoption of IEC 1262-3:1994 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard which will apply to electro-optical X-ray image intensifiers for medical use, as components of diagnostic X-ray equipment. This Draft describes a method of determining the luminance non-uniformity of X-ray image intensifiers related to conditions of uniform X-irradiation in the entrance plane.
