Proposes traffic control devices to be used to warn, instruct and guide road users safely through, around or past roadwork sites on roads and footpaths. It includes guidelines for the planning, design and operation of traffic guidance schemes for roadworks. Model instructions for traffic controllers and for carrying out daily routine checks of traffic guidance schemes are given in appendices.
