Proposes requirements for helmets for pedal cyclists that are variations from the basic performance requirements specified in AS 2063.1. It also proposes requirements for ventilation and retention system effectiveness and distribution of localized loading. Suggested changes to this edition include an increase in the range of helmet sizes tested and clarification of the stability test. Comment is sought on whether the localised load test limit should be lowered. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
