Proposes requirements for washers that pre-wash, wash and rinse surgical equipment in hospitals and other non-industrial applications by means of a continuously feeding rack conveyor. These washers are not intended to treat sucker tubing, single-use equipment, mechanical components, electrical components or some other types of equipment. Guidance on information that should be supplied with enquiries and orders is given in an appendix.
