Proposes the adoption of IEC 613:1989 which provides a method for identifying the most important characteristics of rotating anode X-ray tubes and assemblies and facilitates the application of radiographic ratings to evaluate and compare the performance of different makes of equipment. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. Copies of IEC 613:1989 can be purchased from or viewed at any Standards Australian office.
