Proposes definition of the characteristics of ghost cancelling reference (GCR) signals that can be transmitted by TV stations, as part of the television signal, and used by appropriate circuits in TV receivers to reduce or eliminate ghost images often experienced in the analogue PAL television systems adopted by Australia and New Zealand.
