Proposes requirements for the placement and fixing of terracotta, fibre cement and timber shingles and slates of the types specified in BS 71, BS 680 and BS 690. The fixing methods described apply only to roofs of buildings which are intended for domestic, commercial or light industrial purposes with a pitch of 17.5 degrees or greater.
