Proposes the adoption of IEC 601-2-33:1995 as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. The IEC Standard establishes requirements for the safe use of magnetic resonance equipment to provide protection for the patient, the operator, other staff and members of the public in the vicinity when the equipment is being operated.
