Applies to the design, installation and operation of emergency power supplies for power and lighting in hospitals. Proposed changes to the 1985 edition include allowance for mains supply to be used as an emergency supply if the normal supply is an on-site generator and allowance of the use of natural gas as a fuel for engine-driven generating sets. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
