Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 13818-3:1995, and Amendment 1:1996, which specifies the coded representation, and the method for decoding, of multichannel and multilingual high quality audio for broadcasting, transmission and storage media. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard. The complete text can be viewed at the Sydney and Melbourne Information Centres of Standards Australia or at Standards New Zealand. Arrangements can be made to view copies at other Standards Australia branches if required.
