Proposes to extend the range of cylinders covered by the previous edition to include hoop-wrapped metal liners, fully wrapped metal liners and fully wrapped non-metal liners. It particularly targets fully wrapped cylinders with seamless steel liners that are used primarily as compressed fuel containers for natural gas powered vehicles. Provides guidance to approved gas cylinder test stations on test criteria for FRP compressed gas cylinders.
