Proposes the requirements and the type of cleaning operations for which acidic detergents are useful, and specifies criteria for available acid content, degree of foaming and other physical properties. Appendices describe methods for assessing the acid content, corrosion potential and degree of foaming. Proposed as a joint Australian/New Zealand standard.
